This medium-sized sparrow breeds from Alaska east across Canada to Newfoundland, and south to the mountains in Mexico and Georgia. Winters south to the Gulf Coast and northern Mexico. Length: 15-17 cm Wingspan: 20-26 cm Lifespan: up to 11 years
