Kirtland Warbler – Leamington Ontario

One of the rarest songbirds in North America. It was originally only known from Kirtland’s home state of Ohio, In recent years, breeding pairs have been found in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Wisconsin, and southern Ontario due to the expanding population. It winters in The Bahamas and nearby Turks and Caicos Islands, It’s status is “Near Threatened”. Length: 15 cm Wingspan: 23 cm Lifespan: 4 years
