Osprey fishing sequence – Windsor Ontario

July 23, 2021 By Stan Lee

We have many Osprey nested around our region. It is not difficult to photograph them in nest or in flight. However, I have not yet found a place where I can get close enough or on regular basis that I can photograph Osprey in action catching its prey. Fortunately, last four days, an Osprey came to the pond of our local park once a day in the morning fishing. I was out yesterday and today in morning to catch this Osprey in action. Both days, I was able to photograph it diving in the hunting mode with its body fully stretched and its talons wide open just before entering the water.
