Monarch Butterfly clusters – Amherstburg Ontario

September 12, 2021 By Stan Lee

Each year thousands of Monarch Butterflies migrate to Mexico. Our regional being the most southern point in Canada, these Monarchs rest in Point Pelee and some of the local parks along the Erie shores waiting for the good wind direction for their 4o km flight to Ohio USA. This year I was able to capture these beautiful Monarch clusters at a local park in Amherstburg Ontario.
