Giant Hummingbird is the largest hummingbird in the world with body length about 23 cm (9.1 inches) approximately the same as a Northern Cardinal. Its wingspan is about 21.5 cm (8.5 inches). But it only weights about 24 gm (4/5 of an ounce). They are found in high altitudes in the Andes, South America.
