Bananaquit – Ecuador

December 8, 2022 By Stan Lee

This warbler like, passerine bird in the tanager family is widespread in tropical South America north to southern Mexico and the Caribbean. Its name comes from it’s fondness for ripe bananas. Length: 10-13 cm (4 to 5 in).
