Greater Ani and Smooth-billed Ani – Ecuador

The Anis are large black birds with a long tail and a deep ridged black bill of the cuckoo family There are three species of Anis: the Greater Ani, the Smooth-billed Ani and the Groove-billed Ani. Here are the two species that I photographed on my recent trip to Ecuador.
