Many-banded Aracari – Ecuador

December 31, 2022 By Stan Lee

This South American Aracari can be found in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. Length: 43 cm (17 in)

This photo was taken on the top of a 45 meters high bird watching tower overlooking the top of the Amazon canopy. A record shot of this lifer of mine at a very far distance.
