This long, iridescent purple and blue fork tailed hummingbird can be found from the Pacific slope of Colombia’s Western Andes into north and central Ecuador. Length: 18-21 cm (7.1-8.3 in) long including the 10-15 cm (3.9-5.9 in) outer tail feathers.
