Gorgeted Sunangel – Ecuador

January 28, 2023 By Stan Lee

In the good lighting and the right direction, this medium-sized hummingbird displays a glittering pinkish-purple throat complimenting its snowy white chest band. It can be found in the western slopes of Ecuador and the most southern west tips of Columbia in altitude around around 1,700 to 2,300 meters. But it is mostly found in Ecuador. Length: 10-11 cm (3.9-4.3 in)
