Collared Inca – Ecuador

This large hummingbird is distinctive and unique in having a white chest-patch and white on the tail. It can be found in humid Andean forests from western Venezuela through Columbia and Ecuador, to Peru and Bolivia. In Ecuador, it is often found above altitude 2100 meters. Length: 10–14 cm (3.9–5.5 in)
