This small, compact and short tailed Euphonia can be found in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Panama, Peru and Venezuela. The female looks like most of the other species of Euphonia female. The male is more colorful. Unfortunately, I did not find the male. Length: 9-11 cm (3.5-4.3 in)
