We have a young Osprey learning how to hunt for fish at our local conservation area for the last couple weeks. It has a long way to go to sharpen its hunting skill. Quite often, it did not catch any fish for the whole day despite many dives. Yesterday, I was able to capture its diving action at the perfect time when its talons just touched the water surface and its eyes shut with membranes ready to dive into the water. Again, it did not get any fish.
