Golden Eagle – Canadian Raptors Conservancy Ontario

November 1, 2021 By Stan Lee

I had seen the Golden Eagle at a very far distance flying over couple times during the hawk migration seasons in our area. But, I never have the opportunity to photograph it up close like we did in the Canadian Raptors Conservancy. This mystic raptor has a wing span around 2 meters. It is such a majestic raptor to watch especially in flight.

Length: 70-84 cm Wingspan: 1.8-2.2 m Lifespan: up to 39 years
