It is always a treat to be able to capture the Hooded Merganser, especially in flight. Yesterday, while waiting for the Bald Eagles, this pair of male and female flew across at eye level out of nowhere. It is difficult to get more than one bird in sharp focus when using long telephoto lens. I was pleased to have my aperture set small enough to have them both in focus in this flight sequence.
